How Codex resets work
Is my reset time the same as a public reset?
No. Use the reset times shown in your own usage dashboard. Public announcements and banked resets are separate from the personal windows you enter here.
What is a banked reset?
OpenAI introduced banked resets for Plus and Pro on June 11, 2026. Check your account for current availability and redemption terms; this tool cannot redeem them.
Will the page notify me when closed?
No. Download and import the calendar reminder to use your calendar app’s notifications. The countdown itself runs only while this page is open.
Why not predict the next public reset?
Past intervals do not establish a schedule. This page does not infer future OpenAI announcements from the archive.
